IFA-2 External-Reflection IR Cell

An external-reflection IR cell with a 10 mm glassy-carbon working electrode and micrometer adjustment.

H-type cell; micrometer-adjusted glassy-carbon electrodeLaboratory & research enquiries

Share your experiment, required configuration and quantity for a quotation.

Product overview

The IFA-2 uses a catalyst-coated glassy-carbon working surface for external-reflection infrared measurements. The integrated micrometer changes the spacing between the working electrode and crystal, allowing the liquid-layer geometry to be adjusted for the experiment. This electrode and optical arrangement differs from IFA-1 internal reflection; confirm the instrument optical path before selecting a version.

Selection questions

How do I check the instrument interface?

Share the instrument make and model, sample geometry, optical or beam path, mounting arrangement and drawings. The cell and instrument interfaces must be reviewed together.

Which experimental conditions are needed?

Specify temperature, pressure, atmosphere or electrolyte, and electrical connections. Confirm sample access, windows, fittings and accessories for the selected method.
